September 2008: ILS Partner, Mr. Oladapo Ademola is appointed a Contributor to the
widely acclaimed Commercial Law Reports of Nigeria Annual Review.

September 2008: ILS instructed to advise and represent Addax Group in Nigeria in regards
Claim filed at The Community Court of Justice (ECOWAS) in regards OPL 291.

September 2008: ILS opens Lagos Island Office at 36 Macarthy Street, Onikan, Lagos, to
service Lagos Island, Lekki/Ajah, Victoria Island and Ikoyi. The Festac Office is now
christened Lagos Mainland Office to service the Lagos Mainland.

August 2008: ILS rejoices as ILS Partner, Oladapo Ademola marries Temitope Omisade, on
2 August 2008 at Lagos.

July 2008: ILS instructed to secure infrastructure financing for Local Government Area
Council in Rivers State.

June 2008: ILS undertakes recovery action as Local Counsel in regards recovery of
outstanding Bank Loans in excess of N600, 000, 000.00 for the National Deposit Insurance
Company, as Liquidator of a failed bank..

April 2008: ILS rejoices as ILS Partner, Chinyere Nwaogu is married to Timothy Akomor, on
12 April 2008 at Lagos.

February 2008: ILS records another litigation success as  the Federal High Court enters
Judgment in favor of Rig Services Firm in a US$700, 000 debt recovery action arising from
Rig Services Contract. Action was commenced November 2007.

January 2008: ILS advises on capital investment and joint venture participation for a Nigerian
mining concern recently awarded Mining License to mine Zinc and Lead Ores in Eastern
Nigeria.

ILS commences proceedings against Port Harcourt Local Government Area Council,
seeking determination of powers of Local Government to assess and collect Development
Levies from Companies operating in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

November 2007: The Ministry of Energy, Ghana, issues a license to build 200bpd refinery in
favor of a South African firm, represented by ILS Attorneys.

June 2007: Judgment entered in favor of Delta State Governorship Candidate represented
by ILS Attorneys whose candidacy was withdrawn by ANPP days to Delta State
Governorship Election. The Judgment  of the Federal High Court Abuja nullifies the
substitution of the Plaintiff for another candidate, and effectively sets the stage for an action
to set aside the entire Governorship election in Delta State. Action commenced April 2007.
